Graduation Day

After five years of hard work my lovely wife Julie Winnard has become Dr Julie Winnard. Her graduation ceremony took place at the Cathedral in Guildford next to Surrey University where she has been a doctoral researcher.

Birthday Party

I cannot quite believe it (obviously!) but my baby sister Tara is 40 this year!!! There will be a birthday celebration on September 10th to mark this occasion, so please make a note in your diaries.

Our Snowman

Our snowman... I rang Dad a few hours before this was made, whilst I was battling to find a Tube Station that was open and he said it had been raining the day before in Tenerife and had spoiled their walk (in shorts)... do we have sympathy??

Got Snow?

We have. About 6 inches on Sunday/Monday; luckily we both had Monday booked off as holiday so we got to avoid the blizzardy treck into work. Gradually going away during the week but we had another scattering last night. How about you all?

I can juggle

Today i was juggling and i got 270 catches and i got one throw behind my back, under my leg, crossed arms i was very proud of myself because that is pretty cool. Anyways, ... there wasn't anything else i had to say.

It was nice to see you all at the Christmas do and a big thank you to Mick and Mary for hosting it this year.

Thanks everyone for the nice cards and excellent presents I received for my birthday and it was lovely to see those of you who came along on Saturday to my little party. I'm not entirely sure I know what the preponderonce of alcohol as gifts says - hopefully just that I didn't give anyone any better ideas! Obviously biggest thankyou to Julie for organising scrummy food. What you didn't get any? Ooops, sorry! It was too nice to wait!
